To celebrate President's Day, we offered a drop-in workshop: Edible Log Cabins. Everyone enjoyed learning a little bit about early homes in Eastern Oregon, and built their own small version to take home and.... EAT!
I have to say I've been a fan of log cabins my whole life, but I've never seen any that look as tasty as yours. What a fantastic way to mis memerable fun with cutural history.
I remember, struggling to connect "The Oregan Train" to my early years in Scotland, but I think I'd have found the whole thing more interesting with a tasty log cabin at the end of it. Thank you so much for making my day, I hope the kids enjoyed eating them as much as I did finding your blog.
