Happy 150th Birthday, Oregon!

On February 14th, Oregon began celebrating its 150th birthday.
At NHOTIC, we served birthday cake, put on a fashion show, presented interpretive programs, and hosted a play titled "The Baker Bunch" which was written/directed/presented by the "Past Their Prime Players".
A good time was had by all.

Welcome to this Blog!

We're here to keep you updated on happenings along the Oregon Trail here in Baker County, Oregon. We are the Trail Tenders, officially known as "Trail Tenders, Incorporated". We are a non-profit volunteer group composed of primarily Baker County residents, dedicated partners with the BLM in operating the National Historic Oregon Trail Interpretive Center (NHOTIC).
With more than 100 members, Trail Tenders provides on-the-ground volunteer support, manages the Center's gift shop, and raises funds (which are donated to the Center for facility enhancement, exhibits, and educational and interpretive programs.)
Check in here often for updates, photos, and announcements.
